    Tamiya Head Office Visited part1

    Friday, October 5, 2007, 06:57 AM [General]

    Hi there fellow RCmate members.

As George pointed out in his blog, we are currently unable to see the videos. We will try to solve the problem ASAP and we appologise any inconvenience this may be caused.

Sunneva and I were lucky enought to vist Tamiya Head Office in Shizuoka Japan. Inside the Head Office there is a Tamiya History Museum as well as current products display. I managed to take few photos so here they are.

I will upload more photos tomorrow (mainly vintage Tamiya RC cars).

Hope everyone is having happy RC time wherever you may be.

    Kameyama Updates

    Tuesday, July 31, 2007, 05:44 AM [General]

Hi there fellow RCmate members. Hope everyone is well and having happy RC time in NZ. (hopely not too many floods and not too cold)

I thought I better drop a line to say hello.

We are currently in Japan and doing a fair bit of wheels'n'deal here. Just getting used to Japanese culture and lots of bowing etc etc. Man, has been really hot here. It has been like 36 degreeds and bloody humid. Mind you I quite like this kind of weather. Japanese business men still wear suites and ties but stuff that. I just wear black singlet, stuby and good old sandals to meet so call Japanese business men. (just kidding by the way, but I am not wearing suites!!).

A fair bit of new stock will be available for sale in NZ depo hopely sometimes this week including Tamiya Hot Shot, XB RX7 D-spec, XB Nismo Silvia D-spec, more affordable complete radio gears, batteries and chargers and much more, so please stay tuned with my auctions. We would like to thank our NZ Depo Team for their hard work and comittement. We much appriciate it.

I appologise for delay in replying to your emails, answering questions on TM and shipping products off to you. We are trying our best however due to time difference and sometimes hard to get to connected online (dam neighbour turning off their WiFi!!) delay occurs.

We are off to Europe in couple of days and I can imagine it will be more harder for me to be connected online hence further delay may occurs.... I cannot really comment as never been to Europe myself but again, we will try our best.

We are currently planning and developing easier order system and quicker delivery time for wide range of hobby products for less price and better service!!! It may take a while but hopely it will be worth it...... and if you are experienced web developer / programmer, please express your ineterests to: (sales@rockandrace.co.nz)

Has been pissing down here, thundering and lightning pretty close by and Typhoon is due here in few days so it is good time to leave Japan for a while.

Congrats to Wayne from Team Kameyama Racing. He has been improving his position slowly but surely and I trust other members are doing well as well.

Any way, I better finish off this and better go to bed (well actually we don't have bed in our house. Just the futon mattress. It is quite hard but comfortable enough). I have to meet another supplier tomorrow.

Have a good one wherever you may be.

    Take care

    Kind regards

    Jun & Sunneva
