Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Santa brought you lots of RC goodies.

We had a great Chrsimtas here just ate till we dropped and snoozed and ate and snoozed!!

Our aims for 2008:

Unfortunately, I could not spend much time developing RCmate this year.... I am hoping I will be bit more organised next year and spend more time on RCmate. Sorry guys...

We belive we can excel in our service. We are currently not too happy with the time it takes between you placing an order and reciving products. We are working on this and hope to have much more efficient turn around. As a first step, we changed cusom brokers and this is already showing with a fast turn around in NZ Customs for our latest order.

We have contracted with a professional web developing company to create a "Superb Online Shop". This will enhance your online shopping experience and it will be much more easier to find and navigate to particular products. I cannot wait till show you guys the website!!!! Hopefully it will be ready to go within a month or so.  Don't miss out on Opening Sales!!! Also prior to opening the online shop, we are building up stock for a wider range of products to cater to greater needs and we will keep increasing our product range next year!!

We are proud to introduce new members on Ecom Trading Ltd. Betsy and John. Betsy has been managing Ecom Trading Ltd. while Jun and Sunneva were away overseas. Also people call her GST / Tax Master as she has been helping new businesses with book keeping for years. John used to work for ANZ head office in Wellington as a Bank Investor and he advises us when to buy foreign currencies etc so our customers can purchase products cheaply. They have been great business mentors for us and their input to Ecom Trading Ltd. has been huge plus for us.

Any way, enough raving from me.

I hope eveyone have happy safe holiday wherever you may be. Remember, even though it is holiday time, we are still operating everyday (except you may experience delay as bank and couriers are not working during the public holiday). Just a quick not to say there may be slight delays in answering in your PMs, emails and answering your questions on Tradme.

As there was a major power cut and phone cut over the weekend here and they haven't restored phone/internet service and we are not too sure when this will happen. If you have been ringing us over the weekend, and experiencing just ring once and nothing happened or just doesn't ring, this is because of fault phone line. Hiya fellow RCmate members. Hope everyone is having RC packed action weekend.

We have been back in Aotearoa couple of weeks now. Took few days to adjust NZ Life Style after visiting all the big cities in Europe and spent about a month in Tokyo. Good to be back working on the dairy farm again too.

Ohhh, and new products from Tokyo Hobby Show is coming here very soon too. So keep an eye out for my auctions.

Hi there fellow RCmate members.

I was lucky enough to attend Tokyo Hobby Show yesterday.

As you can see from the photos, lots of goodies and most products on the photos will be avaialbe to you as soon as they are released!!

For me, high light of hobby show was Tamiya DB-01 Durga, Tamiya DT-02 MS and Futaba Megatech 3PM 2.4Ghz Spectrum. All of these products are affordable yet have very high perfomance specs.

DT-02MS will be available to you this month, DB-01 Durga will be available next month and Futaba Spectrum will be available in December.

I saw few famous RC racers there too such as Masami from Yokomo and Mr Maezumi from TRF.

It was interesting to have a yarn with RC developers from the makers and I cannot wait to provide you with new exciting RC products!!!

Will upload some videos from the Hobby Show later on today, such as Tamiya DB01 Duruga, Yokomo Drifters, Yokomo SD-12 TV in action.
